During the tour, you will observe the trees at different stages of production and learn to identify the varieties and characteristics of the fruit.

Cocoa Tour and Workshop Policies:

To ensure a safe, organized, and enjoyable experience for all our visitors, please take into account the following policies:

1. Prior Reservation: It is recommended to make reservations at least 48 hours in advance. Visits without a reservation are subject to availability.

2. Punctuality: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Tours start promptly.

3. Cancellations and Changes: Cancellations with at least 24 hours notice can be rescheduled without penalty. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to charges.

4. Appropriate Clothing and Footwear: It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing, sunscreen, a hat, and closed-toe shoes suitable for walking on uneven terrain.

5. Accessibility: Some areas of the tour may have limited access for people with reduced mobility. Please inquire in advance for accommodations.

6. Children: Children are welcome under adult supervision at all times.

7. Pets: For safety and hygiene reasons, pets are not allowed during the tour.

8. Respectful Conduct: Respectful behavior towards the environment, staff, and other visitors is expected. Smoking and consuming alcoholic beverages during the tour are not allowed.

9. Photography and Video: Taking photos and videos is allowed.

Guided Tour: During this guided tour, you will be accompanied by a cacao expert who will guide you through each step of the process, explaining the traditional techniques used to cultivate and process cacao in Costa Rica.

You will walk through cacao plantations surrounded by lush nature, where you can learn about cacao varieties and discover the positive impact cacao has on sustainability and local communities.

Duration: Approximately 3 hours.

Food: The tour also includes a delicious meal that highlights the traditional flavors of the region.
