Overview
Canopy - Sarapiquí
Discover the Sarapiquí rainforest from above on an adventure that combines zip lines, nature, and views of the Sarapiquí River. This canopy tour lets you leave the trails behind for a while and experience the tropical rainforest from a different perspective, moving between platforms set among the vegetation and gliding above one of Costa Rica’s most lush natural environments.
After receiving the safety instructions and putting on your gear, the circuit begins with 9 zip lines and 11 platforms. Each line offers a different experience as the route winds among trees, tropical vegetation, ravines, and different levels of the forest.
The adventure gradually builds to one of its most special moments: a final line approximately 900 feet (274 meters) long that crosses the Sarapiquí River canyon. From above, the river and forest provide the setting for a thrilling finish that combines speed, scenery, and adrenaline.
More than just gliding among the trees, this experience offers a different way to discover Sarapiquí’s natural character. It’s an excellent option for travelers who want to add adventure to their itinerary and experience the tropical rainforest from a perspective that would be difficult to appreciate from the ground.
